On October 11, 1997, at approximately 4:20 am, Terrence Campbell was participating in an alleged drug transaction when an unidentified white man in a vehicle shot and killed him on the 800 block of NW Davis Street. Mr. Campbell, a 36-year-old African-American man, was reported to be a known drug dealer.

The unidentified white male was reported to have been the potential customer in the alleged drug deal and was the passenger in a small 1990’s white Honda or Toyota car driven by a white woman.

Witnesses may contact Cold Case Homicide Unit investigators directly at (503) 823-0400. To remain anonymous, witnesses may provide information through Crime Stoppers of Oregon.
