Case #00-95085

On September 28, 2000, Sharveil Moorer left the Going Street Market approximately 10:50 pm after buying a pack of cigarettes. Mr. Moorer, a 26-year-old African-American man, arrived at his father’s house on the 4600 block of N Vancouver Avenue a few minutes after 11:00 screaming that he had been shot by an unidentified subject in a vehicle. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died from his wounds.

 

Sharveil Moorer was reported to be a former member of the Kerby Block Crips and worked with his father in the scrap metal business.

 

Witnesses may contact Cold Case Homicide Unit investigators directly at (503) 823-0400. To remain anonymous, witnesses may provide information through Crime Stoppers of Oregon.
