On April 30, 1986, Michael Koseniensky and his wife were at their home on the 3500 block of SE 80th Avenue when a knock was heard at the front door at approximately 9:58 pm.
Mr. Koseniensky, a 33-year-old white man, answered the door and was shot. After hearing the gunshots, Mr. Koseniensky's wife found him lying on the entry way floor and called 911 immediately. Mr. Koseniensky was transported to a nearby hospital. He ultimately succumbed to his wounds on June 20.
Michael Koseniensky was reported to be a mechanic and car salesman. He was married and had no children. Mr. Koseniensky may have been involved in the sale of drugs at the time of his murder.
