Case #82-14618
At approximately 3:00 am on February 20, 1982, James Bradley was walking along the sidewalk near the intersection of SW Park and Salmon Street, when he was approached by an unidentified male and shot. Mr. Bradley was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died as the result of his wounds.
James Bradley was originally from East Chicago, Indiana, and was an aspiring professional basketball player. It was reported that he was associated with known drug dealers. Witnesses reported seeing Mr. Bradley at the Copper Penny II on the night of the murder.
