Case #84-16669

On February 24, 1984, an individual was walking home at approximately 6 pm on NE Cornfoot Road when he observed what appeared to be a body lying in the amid the blackberry bushes on the bank of the Columbia Slough less than a quarter mile east of NE 47th Avenue. Police responded to discover Gustavo Espinoza, a 20 year-old Hispanic man, had died as the result of a gunshot wound.

Mr. Espinoza was born in Mexico and was rumored to be dealing heroin at the time of his murder. He was last seen at a duplex on the 6800 block of NE Cornfoot Road during the evening prior to his discovery.
