Early in the morning on January 13, 1976, Sherry Lynn Fuson was found deceased by her husband in the hallway of the second floor of their house on the 800 block of SE 32nd Avenue. Sherry, a 24 year-old white female, had been beaten and shot to death.

Sherry Fuson had worked at a local massage parlor on 82nd Avenue and was a known prostitute. Three young children were present when she was murdered.
