Case # 87-21048

On Tuesday, September 2, 1986, the body of Terrence Rodger Demildenhall, a 22-year-old white male, who was a transient, was found in his sleeping bag on the west seawall of the Willamette River. He had been shot in the head.

Almost six months later, on Friday, February 27, 1987, not far from where Demildenhall had been murdered, the body of Fred William Edgi, a 36-year-old Indian male, who was a transient, was found in his sleeping bag.  He, too, had been shot in the head.  Evidence links the same suspect to both murders.
