Alarm permit application

Service
The City of Portland requires both residents and business owners with alarm systems to maintain an annual permit with the city.

This application should take 15-30 minutes to complete.

  1. Print and fill out the application

    Permits are free to seniors aged 62 or older, provided they live at the same address 12 months per year and provide the City a copy of their Oregon driver's license or other state identification.

    Residential permits are $25 per year

    Business permits are $125 per year
