The Police Accountability Commission is hosting a community info session Wednesday, July 26th from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Multnomah Arts Center.
This event will be hybrid, meaning you can join by Zoom or in person. Please click on the RSVP link. Please RSVP if you plan to attend in person or on Zoom.
Come listen and ask questions about the new police oversight policy that the Police Accountability Commission has been working hard on for a year and a half. This policy will be presented to City Council in September.

This is a chance for community members to come listen to a presentation on what the new complaint process will look like, share policy ideas, ask questions regarding police accountability, and ensure your voice is heard in the PAC's process of creating a new oversight system for police in Portland. Reminder – the PAC is not affiliated with the PPB.
The PAC is a group of volunteer community members working to implement the Real Police Accountability ballot measure, approved by Portland voters in 2020. 82% of Portlanders voted in favor of creating a new community police oversight board, and the City Council set up this commission to work with the community to develop the details of the new system.
