Council decision on Oversight Board proposal TODAY

Today (Wednesday, November 15, at 2 PM), the City Council will consider proposing a City Code package and corresponding agreements to the Settlement Agreement, which would create a community police oversight board, to the DOJ and US Court for review.

The full text of the Council resolution is available at: "Direct the City Attorney’s Office to seek required approvals from the United States Department of Justice and the United States District Court, and comply with any mandatory collective bargaining obligations, for amendments to the Department of Justice Settlement Agreement and to City Code related to the Community Police Oversight Board."
