Dear Portlanders,
The Police Accountability Commission is a City advisory group consisting of community members developing a new accountability system for Portland police, including a new investigatory and disciplinary structure and oversight board. This email is a public meeting notice for the Police Accountability Commission for December 2022.

Public Meeting Notice
The Police Accountability Commission's monthly meeting for December is this coming Thursday:

The Police Accountability Commission Sub-Committee on Officer Accountability has added a work session on December 10, in addition to its two sub-committee meetings in December:

Please note that the Sub-Committee on Officer Accountability was previously known as the Sub-Committee on Individual Accountability.

The Police Accountability Commission has previously-scheduled meetings for its Sub-Committee on Access to Information, and Sub-Committee on Structural Oversight, in December:

Finally, the Commission's first sub-committee meeting in January has been tentatively moved from January 2 to January 5:

The Police Accountability Commission will not meet from December 20-28.

The Police Accountability Commission generally meets on Thursday, with sub-committee and other meetings occurring on Monday. Rarely, a week will have these meetings reversed, with the full commission meeting Monday. Meetings generally start at 6:30 or 7 PM.

The Police Accountability Commission also holds community engagement events on other days of the week and/or at other times of day. The full event calendar will have these events posted.
