Dear Portlanders,
The Police Accountability Commission began its work in December 2021, starting a process of developing an investigatory and disciplinary structure for the Portland Police Bureau to replace the Independent Police Review agency. This email is a public meeting notice for the January 2022 meetings of the Police Accountability Commission.
Public Meeting Notice
The Police Accountability Commission will hold a total of four meetings in January, including three sub-committee meetings and a full commission meeting:
- PAC Sub-Committee on Bylaws and Internal Processes (1/2):
Thursday, January 13 from 5:30-7:30 PM on Zoom - PAC Sub-Committee on Bylaws and Internal Processes (2/2):
Tuesday, January 18 from 5:30-7:30 PM on Zoom - PAC Sub-Committee on Community Engagement Framework:
Thursday, January 20 from 7-9 PM on Zoom - Police Accountability Commission:
Thursday, January 27 from 5:30-8 PM on Zoom
As more information is finalized for each meeting, it will be posted at the links above. This includes Zoom connection information for members of the public to observe the meeting, agenda items for the meeting, and other documents. Meeting reports will also be posted at this link after the meeting once approved by the PAC.
Accessibility Notice
To help ensure that community members can observe these meetings, the City of Portland will provide ASL interpretation, closed captioning and Spanish interpretation.
