Important notice about upcoming changes to the FAIR Ordinances

On June 29, 2022, City Council passed amendments to PCC 30.01.086 & PCC 30.01.087, collectively referred to as the FAIR Ordinances, that address policies for application and screening as well as security deposits for residential rentals in Portland. The amendments were part of a settlement agreement reached in a lawsuit filed by a group of aggrieved landlords.

These changes go into effect on July 29, 2022.
