Re:    Notice of Intent to Negotiate and Award a Contract
Description: Landlord-Tenant Mediation Pilot Program RFQ

On May 12, 2022, submissions were received in response to the Eviction Legal Defense – Outreach Services RFQ. The goal of the Eviction Legal Defense Program is to provide free legal services to low-income tenants facing eviction. The RFQ was issued to identify a list of potential organizations to provide outreach services for the Eviction Legal Defense Program to eligible tenants most at risk of eviction with a focus on tenants who have received a notice of termination or notice of housing subsidy termination in advance of an eviction case being filed. Evaluation of these submittals has been completed.

The City of Portland is pleased to announce that it intends to negotiate and award a contract to NAACP – Portland Branch 1120B because they were deemed the most qualified respondent for this project and best satisfied the decision-making framework.
