Public comment on proposed technical changes to the Administrative Rules associated with Portland City Code Title 30.01.086 & 30.01.087

PHB is taking public comment on the rule language that has been adopted for both Rental Housing Application and Screening & Rental Housing Security Deposits. These changes provide additional clarity to the public regarding notices of unit availability, determining applications order of receipt, prequalified applicants and timing of the Final Inspection after tenancy. The public is invited to testify on the technical changes of the proposed drafts.

Beginning Wednesday, July 29, 2020, you can submit testimony or feedback on the draft. Testimony may be submitted via email, fax, letter, or at the public hearing (details below). Written comments or testimony must be received by September 30, 2020 and must include a first and last name to be considered.
