Conflict Management Strategies for Landlord/Tenant Relationships

October 6, 12-1 pm

In this one-hour session, subject matter experts from Resolutions Northwest will discuss ways to reduce and manage conflicts that may arise in the normal course of landlord/tenant business interactions.

In this one-hour session, subject matter experts from the Fair Housing Council of Oregon (FHCO) will provide a high-level overview of federal and state anti-discrimination protections for renters.

In this one-hour session, subject matter experts from Disability Rights Oregon will provide general information about laws that apply specifically to renters and rental applicants who are living with disabilities.

In this one-hour session, subject matter experts from Portland Permitting & Development (PP&D) will provide a high-level overview of city codes related to habitability in residential rentals. They will also provide information about the process for reporting habitability concerns related to buildings, nuisance, noise, or zoning.
