How to attend the RSC Listening Session

Please register in advance to provide public testimony during the Rental Services Commission Listening Session. Indicate in the form if you would like to provide public testimony and if you will be attending virtually or in person.

For in-person attendees, see parking and building access information provided on this page.

Flyers are available to download. Share with others and help us get the word out. There are multiple ways to submit your public testimony.

Providing public testimony

Public testimony is limited to three minutes for each speaker.

Please be prepared, concise, and direct. We want to hear from everyone and ask that you respect this time limit.

Virtual testimony

When you are called upon to speak, turn on your microphone and provide your testimony. You may also choose to turn on your camera. Try a test meeting to check your equipment and settings.

If you do not respond when called upon to speak, or you encounter technical difficulties, you may not be able to testify.

In-person testimony

When your name is called, please proceed to the podium that has been designated for testimony. You will have three minutes to provide your testimony into the microphone.

After providing your testimony, you are welcome to return to your seat or simply exit if you do not plan to stay for the additional testimony.

Due to the meeting time limits, we cannot guarantee that everyone who registers to provide public testimony will be able to do so at the Listening Session.

Interpretation and other forms of accommodation may be available to allow you to attend this event. Email Tawnya.Harris@portlandoregon.gov with the type of accommodation you need.

Written testimony

Individuals who are unable to provide testimony due to the number of registered speakers may submit written testimony to:

Written testimony is limited to 530 words.
