About the Program

The Oregon Emergency Rental Assistance Program (OERAP) works to help renters get the assistance they need to avoid utility shutoff or eviction. The program is administered by Oregon Housing Community Services (OHCS) and its community partners.

Getting Started

First, download the Communications Kit. The kit has all the information you need including a tenant checklist, an overview of the application process, and agency contacts for your local county.

Verify Eligibility and Apply

After you answer the prescreening questions, you must complete an application for assistance and provide documentation. Please have all your information and documents ready to ensure faster processing of your application. Refer to the Communications Kit for a list of the documents you will need to provide.

An application will not begin the review process until all information has been received.
