Gooseberry Trails is Under Construction

Gooseberry Trails is now under construction! This homeownership project from Habitat for Humanity Portland Region will bring 52 affordable townhomes to Hillsdale, available to households earning up to 60% or 80% AMI. All units are family-sized, and they will remain permanently affordable.

45 of these homes will have 3-5 bedrooms for larger families, and 5 will be fully ADA accessible. All homes will be built with energy-efficient design, 40% of the site will remain as shared greenspace, including a playground. The development will include 100 parking spaces. Phase 1 of construction, 21 units, are expected to be completed by November 2027, with Phase 2, 31 units, to be completed by November 2028. The project was designed by Brett Schulz.

PHB is proud to support Gooseberry Trails with Metro Housing Bond funds. 1,206 Metro Bond-funded homes have opened in Portland, with nearly 1,000 more in progress, and additional units TBA. Thank you to the voters for supporting affordable housing!
