Congratulations to our partners at Williams & Russell CDC and Adre for breaking ground on 20 new affordable homes for sale. These townhomes will be subject to PHB's N/NE Preference Policy for families with historic ties to the neighborhood, and PHB will support low-income first-time homebuyers with down-payment assistance loans.

10 of the townhomes will have two bedrooms, while the other 10 will have three. All units will have their own parking stall and private backyard patio. Four units will also include an accessible ADU at the ground floor. The townhomes will feature rooftop solar panels and energy-efficient design. Choices including unit size, layout, outdoor space, and more were informed by an extensive community outreach process. Colas Construction is serving as general contractor, and the project was designed by Lever Architecture.

These townhomes are the first component of a larger planned development, which will also include 85 affordable rental units funded by PHB and subject to the N/NE Preference Policy, as well as a Black Business Hub, a culturally-specific daycare, and ample outdoor space for community gatherings.
