Congratulations to our partners Related Northwest and the Immigrant & Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) on completing construction at Aldea, the family housing portion of the Glisan Landing project! Aldea contains 96 affordable homes, with 81 sized for families, and 15 regulated for deep affordability at 30% of Area Median Income (AMI).

IRCO will provide services to residents. Amenities on-site include a playground, a picnic area, a community garden, and a courtyard with an exercise circuit, shared with the attached supportive housing project, Beacon. A multicultural preschool is planned for an adjacent site. The project was designed by Holst Architecture with LMC Construction and ALMAR Contracting serving as general contractors.

Aldea at Glisan Landing is the ninth project to open in Portland with funds from the Metro Housing Bond. This Bond is bringing over2,000 new affordable homes to Portland, including 983 family-sized homes and counting. Thank you to Metro-area voters for supporting affordable housing!
