The Alberta Alive Townhomes can now begin construction! This project from Self Enhancement, Inc. and Community Development Partners will bring eight new affordable townhomes to the Humboldt neighborhood, which will be sold to low-income homebuyers with historic ties to N/NE Portland via PHB's Preference Policy.

All townhomes will include 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, and be permanently affordable to families making up to 80% of the Area Median Income. Prospective buyers will also gain access to homeownership education and counseling through SEI, helping them become mortgage-ready. Units are expected to be sold by spring 2027. Scott Edwards Architecture designed the project and Owen Gabbert, LLC, is General Contractor.

The Abbey Townhomes were funded by the Metro Affordable Housing Bond, which is bringing over 2100 affordable homes to Portland, including 110 homes for sale.
