The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to invite applications from eligible applicants for the program and purpose described in FR-6800-N-98. The purpose of this grant opportunity is to empower communities that are actively taking steps to remove barriers to affordable housing and seeking to increase housing production and lower housing costs over the long term.

The City of Portland continues to respond to the ongoing affordable housing crisis through various policies, plans, and programs. In keeping with these efforts, the Portland Housing Bureau (PHB) intends to apply for the PRO Housing Grant to fund various activities that support the intent and purpose of said grant.
