The week of April 29, 2024, PHB will release the Spring 2024 Metro Bond Opportunity Solicitation (“M-BOS Last Gap Round 2”) dedicating resources for acquisition and construction projects that demonstrate readiness to proceed. PHB will invite proposals from development partners with affordable multifamily projects in predevelopment or identified acquisition projects that will deliver new affordable units. Selected projects will assist with meeting or exceeding the Local Implementation Strategy for Portland’s Metro Housing Bond share, in particular the 30% AMI restricted unit and Permanent Supportive Housing unit goals.

The M-BOS Last Gap Round 2 will offer capital funds from the Metro Housing Bond, Multnomah County General Fund, and Portland Clean Energy Fund; and Supportive Housing Services funding from the City/County Joint Office of Homeless Services (JOHS). To be considered, projects must have other capital and operating sources awarded or reserved and be ready for construction or acquisition in 2024.
