Legin Commons, a new affordable housing development in Montavilla, can now begin construction on 124 homes for low-income families and individuals. Next to the Jade District and 82nd Ave, Legin Commons is located on Portland Community College's Southeast Campus.

20 units will be deeply affordable for household making under 30% AMI, while the remainder will be regulated at 60% AMI. 63 units will contain two or three bedrooms. These units will serve families in the neighborhood with an emphasis on prioritizing communities of color, including the AAPI community, as well as serving the variety of housing needs of PCC’s diverse student body.

Developed by APANO and Our Just Future, the project includes many amenities, such as an outdoor courtyard, a playground, and on-site laundry, and is located near frequent transit.

Legin received funds from the Metro Housing Bond, which is bringing over 2000 affordable homes to Portland. Thank you to the voters of the Metro region!
