City of Portland proclaims April 2022 to be Fair Housing Month to commemorate the passing of the federal Fair Housing Act.

On Wednesday April 6, Mayor Ted Wheeler officially proclaimed April 2022 to be Fair Housing Month in Portland. The Portland Housing Bureau, Fair Housing Council of Oregon, and City Council all provided commentary on the continued work to affirmatively further fair housing in our city. The Fair Housing Council of Oregon presented local area artists who competed in the annual Fair Housing Poster Contest. View their artwork, the presentation and the proclamation on our website.
