Interim and Draft Permanent Rules for Design Review Procedure Certification for Affordable Housing Developments

The public is invited to provide testimony on the draft rules. Please submit your comments by September 9, 2021. Virtual public hearing, September 9 at 11am. Follow the link to register.

The Portland Housing Bureau has adopted Interim Administrative Rules for a new program, Design Review Procedure Certification for Affordable Housing Developments (Certification Program), to implement a portion of the new code changes associated with the Design Overlay Zone Amendments (DOZA) project adopted recently by City Council. These Interim Administrative Rules are effective August 1, 2021. PHB has also published draft permanent administrative rules for the Certification Program. The public is invited to provide comments on the draft permanent rules prior to their adoption.
