Developed by Portland Community Reinvestment Initiatives (PCRI), Kafoury Court brings 40 new units of Permanent Supportive Housing to the King neighborhood of Northeast Portland. The building will feature an all-electric design.
November 2025

Portland Community Reinvestment Initiatives (PCRI) developed Kafoury Court, bringing 40 new units of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) to the King neighborhood. A mix of studios and 1-bedrooms, these homes include deep rent subsidies and wrap-around services for those exiting homelessness. Services are provided by PCRI, alongside Northwest Pilot Project (NWPP), and the Black Community of Portland. On-site amenities include balconies, sunrooms, and community rooms. Kafoury Court is located near transit, groceries, parks, and other amenities.

Kafoury Court promotes decarbonization through an all-electric design. The roof is designed to be solar-ready, and to feature a cool-roof finish to reflect heat. All units and staff areas include dedicated heat pumps, as well as low-flow fixtures and dedicated water heaters. PHB awarded pass-through Portland Clean Energy Community Benefit Funds (PCEF) from our partners at the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, in order to help Kafoury Court meet its energy efficiency goals.

Amenities on-site include a community room, rooftop community space, a bike room, and Energy Star appliances.
