We are pleased to present the 2021 Annual Report on Portland's Housing Bond. In November 2016, Portland voters passed a bond measure by wide margins, dedicating $258.4 million to create 1,300 permanently affordable homes for our neighbors struggling to afford a place to live. The new report demonstrates our commitment and progress through the COVID-19 pandemic, as we have already exceeded our commitments to voters, even before an additional three bond projects being announced in 2022. Even during these unprecedented times, we've worked closely with our Bond Oversight Committee to ensure these investments reflect the values and priorities of the community they are meant to serve. As we prepare to open six new Bond projects in 2022, we value this opportunity to reflect on another year of progress.
