The Public Environment Management Office was created to coordinate non-homelessness related litter and graffiti removal efforts throughout Portland city limits.

The Public Environment Management Office is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the removal of non-homelessness related trash and graffiti throughout Portland. Receiving reports from community members about trash and graffiti is critical to the program's success. We want to thank you in advance for utilizing the following reporting methods.

Report problems with a public trash can

The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability is responsible for maintaining public trash cans. If you see a broken, damaged or overflowing trash can please visit the BPS report a problem with a publish trash can webpage.
