From getting assistance with graffiti removal to applying for small business grants, here are some of Portland's graffiti related resources for community members.

Graffiti removal assistance

The Graffiti Program offers no-cost or reduced-cost graffiti removal assistance to residents, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations who meet eligibility criteria. Removal assistance includes painting and/or power washing surfaces, it does not include acid-etched glass or graffiti on vehicles.

Who qualifies?

  • Anyone impacted by hate graffiti and most gang graffiti.
  • Small businesses with 1-10 employees (cannot be a corporate franchise).
  • Any single-family home, condo or apartment buildings with 1-10 units.
  • Nonprofit organizations; excluding nonprofit organizations with more than 100 employees.

Graffiti removal waiver

The City of Portland provides no-cost or reduced-cost graffiti removal assistance to anyone impacted by hate graffiti and most gang graffiti, small businesses (10 employees or less), small nonprofit organizations (100 employees or less) and houses, condos, or apartment buildings with 1-10 units. Applicants must submit their completed application to graffiti@portlandoregon.gov
