PEMO’s Problem Solver Network brings neighbors and City partners together to listen, coordinate, and move community‑driven solutions forward quickly and clearly for issues in public spaces.
Problem Solver Meetings
Rapid. Local. Impactful. Solutions.
The Problem Solver Network is how PEMO brings community voices and City partners together to fix problems in public spaces quickly and transparently. Meetings are virtual and take place every two weeks. Neighbors, small businesses, nonprofits, and community groups can share concerns and see real follow‑through.
Across 14 areas, these 30‑minute virtual meetings focus on listening and coordinating on clear next steps. City staff provide updates and coordinate across bureaus so issues don't get stuck or passed around.

Problem Solver conversations often lead directly to site walks, referrals, and targeted improvements. The result is faster, visible improvements that reflect lived experience and help Portlanders feel seen, supported, and safe in their neighborhood

What to Expect in Problem Solver Meetings
Problem Solver meetings are designed to help us work together on real solutions for public‑space issues. By keeping the conversation solution‑focused, we can make faster progress and deliver improvements that reflect what people are experiencing on the ground. PEMO's role is to listen, coordinate the right partners, and help turn community input into clear actions we can follow through on.

Meetings take place virtually via Microsoft Teams. For more information or to attend a Problem Solver meeting, contact pemo@portlandoregon.gov. You will be sent a calendar invite with a direct link to the meeting. See the schedule listed below.
