Construction to build a reflecting pool on top of the new underground reservoir at Washington Park will impact local traffic within the park between late April and early November 2024.

Visitors to Washington Park, including the Portland Japanese Garden and Portland International Rose Test Garden, should plan for limited parking options in September due to construction near the new reservoir. Easy access to parking is available using Washington Park's free shuttle service.

Map showing closure of SW Sherwood, SW Sacajawea and SW Madison Trail. Vehicular traffic can travel west into the park via SW Lewis and Clark Way. Pedestrians and cyclists can use a multi-use trail in both directions along the western portion of SW Sacajawea and then along SW Lewis and Clark Way. The free shuttle stop at SW Park and SW Sacajawea will be closed.
