Portland Parks & Recreation maintains a variety of sports fields - soccer, football, baseball, and softball - throughout the city. PP&R also issues permits for Portland Public School District fields.
Portland Parks & Recreation would like to create an opportunity for public discussion on concussion awareness. By raising awareness of the importance of recognizing a concussion, treating it appropriately and supporting the injured we can positively impact youth and families in Portland.

Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) believes recreation is for everyone and recognizes that cost can be a barrier to participation.
The EAGLE Caddie Scholarship program is a unique internship program aimed at introducing students to all aspects of golf course operation. Applications for 2021 are currently closed.
Goldenball strives to encourage all youth participants, regardless of ability, to learn the fundamentals of the game, develop a sense of fair play and promote good sportsmanship. We want participants to experience team play, individual cooperation and have fun.
The 10-member Golf Advisory Committee (GAC) advises the Parks & Recreation Director and the Commissioner in charge of Parks on golf program-related matters. 


Portland Parks & Recreation offers gymnastics and tumbling activities for parent/child, preschool, youth, and teen participants.

Portland Parks Golf offers affordable, quality golf to Portland's residents and visitors. Our five golf courses are conveniently located around the metro area to offer unparalleled access to our nationally recognized courses.

5K Series Fun Runs

Run for the fun of it! Portland Parks & Recreation's 8th Annual 5K Fun Run Series are family-friendly 5K races that take place monthly from April through September at parks throughout the Portland area. 


PP&R skateparks are open, but clinics and lessons are not currently available.
Portland Parks & Recreations owns and operates four indoor pools and seven outdoor pools.
