Portland Parks & Recreation's annual 5K Fun Run Series are family-friendly 5K races that take place monthly from May through August at parks throughout Portland.
$5 registration fee for participants aged 18 and older. Participants younger than 18 years old run for free! We celebrate the participation of all ages, along with athleticism and friendly competition. We welcome new walkers and runners, as well as our seasoned racers.

Get registered today! Click on the location linked below to register online for each run. We strongly encourage pre-registration but do accept walk-up registrations on the day of the race (cash-only).
- May 17: Laurelhurst Park
- June 14: Lents Park
- July 12: Pier Park
- August 16: Gabriel Park
Fun Run Schedule
On race day, participants can time themselves using our sports clock, and every finisher gets a ribbon!
- 8am - Check-in and bib pick-up begins
- 8:45am - Competitive 5K Race starts
- 9:20am - Kids Fun Run 1K or 2K for children 8 years old and younger
- 9:45am - All Participant 5K Fun Run starts
