During drop-in swimming times, everyone must pay admission, even if they are not getting in the water. Pool capacities are limited.
- Non-swimmers and children under 48 inches tall must always have a caregiver aged 16 or older in the water within arm’s reach.
- Children under 10 years old must always have a caregiver on-site.
- Life jackets are available to use while swimming.
Spring Schedules
Summer schedules begin on June 20 and will be published here on June 7.
Swim Lessons
Lessons are limited and vary by pool. Not all levels are offered at all times. Private and semi-private lessons are not available. Learn more about the PP&R swim lesson program.

We're Hiring
Portland Parks & Recreationis looking for team-oriented, enthusiastic, and qualified staff to operate our year-round indoor and summer outdoor swimming pools. This is a great opportunity to learn leadership skills and help others stay safe and enjoy being in the pool. You must be 16 years old to apply. Certification must be current through the duration of employment(PP&R provides free training and certification). Hours may vary and are based on program needs and job classification. All-User Changing Rooms
Southwest Indoor Pool facilities feature four all-user changing rooms.
Pool Lift
Southwest Indoor Pool has a chair lift with straps available on Lap pool and spa.
Zero Depth Entry
Southwest's leisure pool has a zero depth entry (sloped entrance from land to water).
