Fitness in the Park

Portland Parks & Recreation's Fitness in the Park helps community members achieve their fitness goals while adhering to physical distancing recommendations and connecting to nature in our parks. All fitness levels are welcome.

Lifelong Recreation

Information
Lifelong Recreation (formerly Senior Recreation) is dedicated to ensuring access to recreational, educational, and wellness opportunities for adults age 60+.
Portland Parks & Recreation COVID-19 Update: All indoor and outdoor recreation facilities, including community centers and pools, are temporarily closed.
Portland Parks & Recreation is dedicated to providing a play-based, child-centered educational preschool program for ages 3–5 years old. Play is an important avenue for learning. It is our goal to honor where each child is in their development.
Summer camps, outdoor summer programming, Fitness in the Park, Nature Day Camp, and Summer Free For All’s Free Lunch + Play will begin Monday, June 21, 2021. Swimming pools will open Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

Summer Camps

In summer 2021, Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R)’s primary goal is to keep our community healthy and to protect the public from the spread of COVID-19. PP&R designed summer programming to meet public health guidance and to be flexible as conditions change.
At Schools Uniting Neighborhoods (SUN) Community Schools the school community works with partners in the broader community to educate and support kids creating a collective impact.
All Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) community centers and pools are temporarily closed in response to COVID-19. PP&R is planning to reopen all seven outdoor pools and, if COVID-19 restrictions and staffing allow, five indoor pools on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) is responsible for providing all Portlanders with recreational opportunities that are safe and reliable. Safety is our top priority.

Tennis

Information
Portland Parks & Recreation's Tennis program offers year-round opportunities to learn, play, and compete. Due to COVID-19, lessons and classes are temporarily on hold.
