Normandale Park is a popular park in Northeast Portland’s Rose City Park neighborhood. The park is about 14 acres and has been part of the community since 1940. It has something for everyone. Here, you'll find open green space, paved and dirt paths, picnic areas, and places to play sports. You’ll also find soccer and softball fields, basketball and volleyball courts, and a playground. Additionally, the park has accessible restrooms and a fenced dog off-leash area where dogs can run and play.

One special part of the park is Erv Lind Stadium. It was built in 1948 and is known for its history in women’s fast-pitch softball. The stadium was named after Erwin “Erv” Lind, a coach for a team called the Erv Lind Florists. In 2024, the stadium was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It’s important not only for sports but also because it was a space where Portland’s LGBTQ2SIA+ community gathered in the past.

Normandale Park is open every day from 5am to midnight. It’s a great place to walk, play, or relax with family, friends, or pets.
