(Portland, OR) –

The new Lents Park turf athletic field is available for drop-in play or to be reserved for league/rental use (contact the PP&R Customer Service Center for rental information on Lents Park or any other PP&R site).

 Project improvements include:

  • A new synthetic turf field
  • Seating
  • Low perimeter fencing around the field
  • A new access path
  • New trees planted, including: 6 Red Alder, 7 Douglas Fir, 5 Eddie’s White Wonder Dogwood trees

A Team Effort
PP&R thanks Under Armour for their generous donation (announced in July, 2015) to park improvements in the Lents neighborhood and at Duniway Park. Also, thanks to the Lents community and neighborhood association for their engagement in the planning and design process for the soccer field project.

There’s a lot to Celebrate in Lents Park
Look forward to a future celebration of both the new turf soccer field and the new Lents Park playground (expected completion by early Fall, 2017), a Parks Replacement Bond project.
