FREE Learn to Swim Lessons are next week- sign up in-person only
Another summer of outdoor swimming and other fun aquatic activities will kick off this month at Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) pools, citywide. Opening day for PP&R's outdoor pools is Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
As part of the PP&R Summer Free For All, FREE Open Play Swim sessions are offered throughout the summer at indoor and outdoor pools across the city. Click here for schedules.

Portland Parks & Recreation pools offer open play swims, lap swimming, teen swims, water exercise classes, junior lifeguard training, junior swim instructor training, summer swim teams, special events, and much more.
FREE SWIM LESSONS
Learn the lifetime skill of swimming for free! Portland Parks & Recreation is offering free swim sessions for youth, including parent/tot classes through several beginning skill levels, June 20 - 23, 2017. Our friendly, experienced swim instructors will teach and improve your child's swimming and water safety skills. The Free Learn to Swim sessions are offered at all of PP&R's indoor and outdoor pools.
How to Register
The only way to sign up for the Free Learn to Swim sessions is in-person at your neighborhood pool on Saturday, June 17, 2017, between 8:00am to 11:30am. You may also register for other sessions and activities at that time.
