Project details
Join Portland Parks & Recreation and the Columbia Slough Watershed Council to plant native shrubs and trees at Big 4 Corners Natural Area. Big 4 Corners is a large natural area (165 acres) in NE Portland, featuring multiple creeks, black cottonwood forests, white oak grassland, and more. We will be planting in an area that has previously had camping and other human impacts, helping to diversify the species of trees and shrubs growing in the area.

Please bring your own water bottle, wear closed toe shoes, and dress for the weather. Instructions, tools, and gloves will be provided, as well as coffee, tea, and light snacks.
