Project description: Join Portland Parks & Recreation and Friends of Terwilliger to remove ground and tree ivy along the historic Terwilliger Parkway for No Ivy Day 2025! For over 20 years PP&R has been working together with partner organizations and community members to remove invasively growing ivy and educate Portlanders about the importance of ivy removal during this city-wide event. Removing weedy introduced species helps restore wildlife habitat and creates space for a diversity of native plants and animals to thrive.

Tools, gloves, water, and project instructions provided. Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy close-toed shoes, and bring your own personal water bottle and snacks. Volunteers will be working off trail on uneven ground.
