Volunteer Event
Join us for the 21st Annual No Ivy Day!
9:00 am 12:00 pm

Project Details:

Join Tryon Creek Watershed Council for a morning of ivy removal at Marshall Park, through which flows the main stem of Tryon Creek, which supports a healthy coastal cutthroat trout population. We will meet at the playground entrance at the end of SW 12th Dr. Volunteers will be working off-trail on uneven ground. Please dress in layers for the weather, wear sturdy closed-toed shoes, and bring a water bottle and snacks. Instruction, tools, gloves, and snacks are provided and there's a port-a-potty on-site.

After the work party, join us to celebrate! There will be an after party at Marquam Nature Park and Mount Tabor Park from 12-1:30 including lunch and raffle prizes. For more information about celebrations, please contact Monica Hescheles monica.hescheles@portlandoregon.gov or 503-823-8367.
