History
There is significant demand for increased community garden plots across Portland. The Knott Park site was identified as a viable location for a community garden to serve families living along the 122nd Avenue and 102nd Avenue corridors. The Knott Community Garden was allocated $75,000 as approved by the Director and Mayor's office in March 2020. This allocation will help meet Portland Parks & Recreation's goal to have a community garden within 1 mile of each household.
