Baltimore Woods Volunteer Planting Event

Please join Friends of Baltimore Woods and Portland Parks & Recreation for a planting day at Baltimore Woods Natural Area!
9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Join Friends of Baltimore Woods and Portland Parks & Recreation for a day of planting in this beautiful North Portland park.

Baltimore Woods is a green fringe of oak and maple trees towering over the neighborhood north of Cathedral Park, anchoring the Willamette bluff, standing as a buffer between riverside industry and downtown St. Johns residents, and providing shelter to native plants and animals. We will be tending to the natural habitat by planting native shrubs, trees, and flowers which support a diversity of insects and pollinators and provides clean air and water in our city

Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy, waterproof shoes, and bring personal water bottle and snacks. Tools, gloves, project instruction, coffee/tea and light snacks will be provided.
