Join Portland Parks & Recreation and The Portland Monarchs for a morning in the butterfly habitat at the viewpoint at Pittock Mansion.

The new butterfly habitat is a sanctuary that plays a critical role in providing a habitat for endangered Monarch Butterflies and other pollinators. Join us for a morning tending to the garden, we will continue to remove unwanted plants and define existing planting areas.
Event details
- Volunteers with knowledge of pacific northwest native plants are encouraged to sign up.
- All instruction and tools will be provided.
- Check the weather before heading to the park and dress for the weather. These events run rain or shine.
- Wear long pants with sturdy close toed shoes.
- Parking passes are provided.
