Portland Parks & Recreation is excited to partner with Birdhers to host this planting event at Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge. Birdhers is a bird watching club for womin, Trans, and non-binary people to build community by walking together, being present in nature, observing the flora and fauna, and sharing knowledge and curiosity about the world around us. For more information about this group and learn about their offerings, check out the Birdhers website!
We will be planting native shrubs to improve habitat for the local wildlife and people. Please dress for the weather (layers and rain gear are great!), wear sturdy, waterproof shoes, and bring personal water bottle and snacks. Tools, gloves, project instruction, coffee/tea and light snacks will be provided.
Registration is required. ***This event is full.***
