Join us for the end of season tending work party! We will be working on a variety of tasks that help keep the plants and flowers at Laurelhurst Park healthy and in bloom. Regular activities include manual weeding, pruning, and other gardening tasks.

Tools and instructions provided. All skills and abilities welcome! If you have garden gloves that you like, please bring them with you.
- Please bring a reusable water bottle if you have one. Wear sturdy close-toed shoes and layers to dress for the weather, plus any snacks you want/need.
- Work looks and feels different for every body. We encourage volunteers to go at their own pace and take breaks to rest.
- Keep yourself and your community safe and healthy - please stay home if you are sick. There will always be more opportunities to volunteer with us!
Meeting Location
Meet at the blue-green maintenance building (3600 SE Ankeny St. on the north side of the park).
Accessibility
This park has accessible restrooms and paved pathways throughout. There are many shaded areas with benches and tables to rest at.
