Please join Portland Parks & Recreation, Willamette River Keeper, and the Human Access Project pick up litter on the beaches of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers at Kelley Point Park.
10:00 am
to
1:00 pm
Join Portland Parks & Recreation, Willamette Riverkeeper and Human Access Project for an on-land cleanup effort as part of the 2025 Great Willamette Cleanup, at Kelley Point Park. Litter and trash can be harmful for wildlife and humans alike, and removing litter from the beaches of Kelley Point Park helps keep the park clean for everyone, and prevents it from being transported even further downstream.
Tools, gloves, project instruction, coffee/tea and light snacks will be provided.
Registration is required.
Meeting Location
- We will meet at the furthest parking lot at the end of Kelley Point Park Road. Please arrive by 10am so we can pass out supplies and walk together.
Site Description/Accessibility
- Although there are paved paths at the park, most of the litter is on the beaches. As such, we will be walking most of the time on sand and stepping over downed logs.
- There are ADA compliant bathrooms on site.
Questions
- For more information, please contact Yoko Silk 503-278-1341 or yoko.silk@portlandoregon.gov
Here are a few tips to get you ready for your stewardship event.

- Registration is required for all stewardship events, unless otherwise noted.
- Stay home if you are experiencing symptoms of any contagious illness.
- All tools, gloves and training to do the task is provided.
- While groups are welcome to join many of our regularly scheduled stewardship events, please contact the event coordinator listed in the description before arriving with a large group.
