Washington Park offers recreation opportunities for all visitors, with the MAC Trail running through it to provide access to the park's many amenities and activities. This event will focus on managing invasive plants along the MAC Trail, particularly near the Amphitheater and the International Rose Test Garden.
We will spend the morning removing disruptive plants, hand-weeding, and performing other basic land care tasks. Volunteers of all skill levels and abilities are welcome; no previous experience is necessary. Portland Parks & Recreation will provide training, tools, gloves, and parking passes for all participants.
